As a Senior Technical Advisor for the Europe & Africa region, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging Core Labs' cutting-edge technologies and expertise to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical consultation and support to clients across Europe and Africa on Core Laboratories' comprehensive suite of reservoir description and production enhancement services and products.
• Analyze complex geological, petrophysical, and production data to recommend optimal reservoir optimization strategies, including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques, formation evaluation, reservoir fluid analysis, and petrophysical analysis.
• Conduct compelling technical presentations, detailed workshops, and comprehensive training sessions for clients and internal teams, effectively communicating the value proposition and technical intricacies of Core Labs' innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and research & development departments to identify emerging market opportunities, provide critical technical input for new product development, and actively support business development initiatives within the assigned region.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their specific operational challenges, and proposing tailored, high-impact technical solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes in reservoir optimization, carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and broader energy transition initiatives, providing strategic insights to the regional leadership team.
• Contribute to the development of technical best practices, compelling case studies, and internal knowledge sharing to enhance the overall technical capability and expertise of the organization.
• Ensure the highest standards of technical excellence, data integrity, and client satisfaction in all engagements, upholding Core Laboratories' reputation for quality and reliability.
• Support the integration of sustainable practices and technologies into reservoir management strategies, aiding clients in their own energy transition pathways.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or a closely related scientific or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on reservoir characterization, reservoir engineering, production optimization, formation evaluation, or petrophysics.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying advanced geoscience and engineering principles to solve complex reservoir performance challenges and improve recovery factors.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software for reservoir modeling, simulation, data analysis, and petrophysical interpretation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to travel extensively across the Europe & Africa region (estimated 30-50%) as required to support client engagements, conferences, and business development activities.
• Fluency in English is essential for all business communications; proficiency in additional regional languages (e.g., French, Arabic, Portuguese) is a significant advantage.
• A valid driver's license and passport with eligibility for international travel.
