As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys, contributing directly to case development and client success while gaining invaluable insight into the intricacies of consumer protection law. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on statutes, case law, regulations, and legal articles relevant to Lemon Law, consumer fraud, and civil litigation cases, utilizing advanced legal research platforms.
• Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and settlement agreements, under the close supervision of senior attorneys.
• Assist with all phases of discovery, including organizing documents, preparing privilege logs, managing electronic discovery, and summarizing depositions and interrogatory responses.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documentation is accurately filed, easily accessible, and compliant with firm protocols and legal requirements.
• Support attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibit lists, witness lists, trial binders, assisting with jury selection materials, and coordinating logistics.
• Summarize deposition transcripts, medical records, expert reports, and other evidentiary documents to identify key facts, legal issues, and potential areas of argument.
• Assist with client communication, including drafting correspondence, preparing client updates, and responding to inquiries under attorney guidance, ensuring professional and timely interactions.
• Monitor and track critical case deadlines, court filings, and litigation schedules to ensure timely compliance with all procedural requirements and firm benchmarks.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the litigation team and overall firm operations, contributing to a seamless and efficient workflow.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program (1L, 2L, or 3L student) or a recent law school graduate.
• Demonstrated strong academic record from an accredited law school.
• A genuine interest in consumer protection law, civil litigation, or Lemon Law is highly preferred, showcasing a passion for our firm's mission.
• Exceptional legal research skills with proven proficiency in platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal databases.
• Superior legal writing and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, crucial for managing high-volume case files and strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-pressure litigation environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys, support staff, and potentially clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general legal software for efficient workflow management.
